Master Paul Heinselman – 6th degree
Master Paul Heinselman began his martial arts training in 1975 at the age of 13. He was awarded his first Black Belt in Ed Parker’s American Kenpo in 1980. His competitive career landed him several state, regional and national championships. And as a member of team USA, In 2015 he was a bronze and silver medalist at the UITF world championships in The United Kingdom.
Master Heinselman is a 6th degree Black Belt in Hapkido under Do Ju Nim Ji Han Jae and GM Kenneth P. MacKenzie. He is also a 5th degree Black Belt in ITF Taekwondo under GM Kenneth P. MacKenzie. He also holds a 1st degree Black Belt in the Superfoot Kickboxing system under GM Bill Wallace.
Master H, as he is called by his students, is the founder and head instructor of H&H Family Martial Arts Academy. “As teachers of the martial arts it is most important that we pass on our art in its purest form in accordance with the guidelines and traditions imparted to us by our teachers” Master Heinselman explains.
“Teaching Hapkido and Taekwondo with precision, accuracy and conviction is my passion.”
Master Heinselman founded “The Hapkido Journal” in 2014 and he has been nominated by his peers for the KMAMHOF, USAMAHOF and the AMAHOH. He also served as a Pennsylvania State Law Enforcement Officer from 1992-1997.
